So I guess it's been a while since I made a broadcast with this thing. But I have a question- I'm a breeder, so I guess I should be getting these TMs and HMs for my team. I know I can buy TMs, but is there any way to get HMs aside from beating gyms?

I mean, it doesn't make much sense to waste that much time just to go get something that I'll use maybe four times and then drop.

[One, two, three, four... yep, four birds to put Fly on.]

Then again, I guess they'd get a lot less people doing these gym things if you could just rent them out, huh.

If you've got advice or ideas on how to pick up Fly, I'm all ears.

You could ask someone if you can borrow their HM! I mean, it looks like you can transport basically anything through the PC, why not electronically transmit the HM to and from after you are finished with it?

That's what I figured. I guess I'm not used to things being that easy.

Maybe...or maybe it will "but thou must" you into getting one for yourself. That doesn't seem very fair, though, why bother allowing breeders to use HMs outside of battle if they're not going to make them easily accessible?

Couldn't tell you. But if this place is based on some kind of video game like I've heard, I wouldn't be surprised if there were hoops you had to jump through.

Makes me miss Pac-Man.

Hehehe, I know that feeling--raising Chaos is a lot less complicated than raising these Pokemon, not that I mind it! Being in the world of Pokemon is pretty much a dream come true, even with all the flighty horseshit you have to go through.

So you're one of those kids who cut their teeth on these games too, huh?

But anyway, failing getting your own HM...you could borrow a Pokemon that knows that move from a friend? Like I said before, transferring things through the PC is easy so you could just give back the Pokemon when you're done.

A man named Kurt gave the HM for Cut to me. He lives in Azalea Town. The easiest way to get Fly is probably to ask someone who has the HM to let you borrow it.

[Lee manages a chuckle.]

Then the problem becomes finding out who's got Fly to lend.

Ask the people who respond to your post? I don't have one, but I'm sure at least one of the others do.

Don't sweat it, I'll get it one way or another. It's not that big a deal, just a more efficient way to get around.

Besides, I got all these birds, I might as well put them to use somehow.

You think? I gotta admit, for as long as I've been working at the breeding center, I've seen a lot more of the pokemon than I have of Miss Saber.

Only thing to do is borrow or steal one, really. You just have to find somebody that has one first.

Steal one? That's a pretty big leap from asking nicely. Where's the middle step of just taking a field trip to the gym and getting one myself?

You did ask for ways other than that. I didn't say stealing one was a good idea, but it's a way.

If you can just go beat the gym, why not just do that in the first place instead of running around trying to borrow one?
